The Child Protection Unit in UNHCR’s Division of International Protection is seeking a Child Protection Expert to support its global work on child protection. The incumbent is expected to be a professional whose expertise goes beyond theoretical and technical knowledge in the area of child protection in humanitarian crises and include a proven ability to deal with multiple tasks/projects that may often have short deadlines. H/She will be based at UNHCR Headquarters, with travel to UNHCR field operations, assessing programmes, providing guidance, strengthening capacity and identifying opportunities for programme expansion and improvement.
