The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Protection Manager in Libya. The Protection Manager will be responsible to provide technical guidance and oversight of the protection teams based in Tripoli. This will include leadership of internal capacity building activities, activity design and implementation as well monitoring and evaluation. The Protection Manager will coordinate with other relevant actors (among which UNHCR, government counterparts, and other national and international NGOs), as well as participate in local-level coordination forums (such as the protection cluster), as needed.

Family for Every Child is recruiting a reseach consultant for the second phase of their project on caring for boys affected by sexual violence. In the first phase, we completed a scoping study on sexual violence affecting boys, the report for which is forthcoming.
We are now looking for a Consultant to support us to:
- Support the design of primary research on the same subject to be implemented by local teams in Cambodia, Nepal, India and the Philippines
- Support the implementation of the research in all countries remotely and through a visit to Nepal
- Write a synthesis report on the findings from all four countries.
We are looking for someone experienced in primary qualitative research with adolescents and adults, research on gender, and research on sexual violence or violence against children. The candidate should also have knowledge of South and South East Asia, a consultative and collaborative working style, and excellent writing skills.
They will need to be available to attend a face to face meeting (likely in Cambodia) week commencing 19th February 2018, support one stage of the primary research in Nepal, and participate in another face to face meeting in the region towards the end of 2018.
