Plan International CBCP in Emergencies Project Manager
Plan International USA is seeking a skilled Project Manager with demonstrable experience working alongside communities to strengthen community based actions for children in emergencies. The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of Plan International’s OFDA grant improving the protective environment for children, young people and their families affected by conflict and disaster through strengthened community-based child protection approaches in line with the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action on behalf of the inter-agency Community Based Child Protection in Emergencies Task Force under the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action.
We're looking for a dynamic professional with a background in the humanitarian sector, community engagement and participatory approaches, in addition to strong research and writing skills. The PM will help to gather information on existing practices, work at the country level to identify promising practices, and develop a user-friendly Field Guide with practical tools and training.
